Thank You, God Bless You, and God Bless America!

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, Mike Pence announced his decision to suspend his presidential campaign.

From Mike Pence:

Last June, I announced my intention to seek the Republican nomination for President of the United States because I believe this country is in a lot of trouble.  I was raised to believe that “to much is given, much will be required.”

And with everything this country is facing, we just couldn’t sit this one out.

But The Bible tells us, “There is a time for every purpose under heaven.”  So, after much prayer and deliberation, I have decided to suspend my campaign for President effective immediately.

I am leaving this campaign, but I will never leave the fight for conservative values, and I will never stop fighting to elect principled leaders to every office in the land.

We always knew this would be an uphill battle, but I have no regrets. The only thing harder than coming up short would have been to have never tried at all.

To the American people, I say this is not my time, but it is still your time. I urge you to hold fast to what matters most; faith, family, and the Constitution of the United States.

I am proud that our campaign has stood firm on America’s role as leader of the free world, embraced our party’s historic commitment to limited government and the right to life. And I will always believe we helped ensure that these principles and values remained at the heart of the debate over the future of our Party.

The American people are the most freedom-loving, faith-filled, idealistic, generous people the world has ever known. The American people have always been great, we just need government as good as our people.

I urge you to give our country a Republican standard bearer that will ‘appeal to the better angels of our nature’ and not only lead us to victory but also lead our nation with civility and back to those time-honored principles that have always made America strong, prosperous and free.

As we leave this campaign, we do so with grateful hearts, I will always be grateful for the opportunities my family and I have been given to serve this country.

I want to thank all our supporters across the country and our devoted campaign team and volunteers whose efforts and prayers have sustained us in this campaign and over the past twenty years. You will always be in our hearts.

Thank you all for the opportunity to serve as your Vice President. It was the greatest honor of my life.

I also want to thank our family,  Michael and Sarah, Charlotte and Henry, Audrey and Dan, most of all, for their love and support throughout this campaign.

To my wonderful wife Karen, thank you for your inspiring faith, your strength, and your love during this campaign and throughout our twenty years of service to our country. We did it all together. I could not have done it without you.

And finally, we thank God for his amazing grace that gave us the courage to step forward and the wisdom to step aside.

My fellow Republicans, thank you for your kindness. As we go home to Indiana, we leave with optimism and faith.

We don’t know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. With faith in Him and boundless confidence in all of you, we know the best days for America and our most cherished ally are yet to come!

Thank you, God bless you, and God bless America.
